About [Include Subassemblies] option for Parts List command.

Solution

From the Parts List.
You need to be select the "Select Object" option when selecting the "Include subassembly" option.

Includes or excludes the components of a subassembly when it is selected from the Assembly Navigator or from the graphics window.

When "Include subassembly"; OFF
The only subassembly is added in the Parts List. Refer below Image-1

The subassembly, as well as included components in subassemblies, are added in the Parts List. Refer below Image-2
